Privacy and legal notes
Below you will find details on how personal data of users consulting this website are handled.
We are required to give this information under comma 13 of Italian law 196/2003 – Requisites for protecting personal data of users of online services.

This information applies exclusively to the Public Interest Services portal and not to any other web links accessed by users.
This information sheet is also based on Recommendation no. 2/2001, which the work group of European authorities for protection of personal data, set up according to comma 29 of Directive no. 95/46/CE, adopted on 17th May 2001, to determine some minimum requirements when collecting personal data online. Particular consideration was given to the kind, timing and nature of information that controllers must give to users connecting to their web pages, for whatever reason.

The “Controller”   Consultation of this site may result in data being collected relative to identified or identifiable persons.

Type of data processed 
Navigation data
As part of their normal functioning, the computer systems and software procedures of this website acquire personal data that is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
This information is not intended for association with identified persons, but its very nature is such that, if elaborated and associated with third-party data, it might enable identification of users.
Examples of this kind of information are IP addresses or computer domain names adopted by users connecting to the site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation addresses of requested resources, time of request, method used to send request to server, dimension of file received, numeric code indicating state of data from server (completed, error, etc.) and other parameters relative to user’s operating system or computer environment,
This information is used exclusively for the purpose of gathering anonymous statistics regarding usage and monitoring correct functioning of site. Such information is kept according to legal requirements concerning duration and other obligations.

Data supplied voluntarily by user
Whenever users choose, desire or decide to send emails to addresses on this site, the sender’s email address – and any other personal data container in the email - are obviously acquired, in order that a reply may be sent.

Cookies
No personal information regarding users is deliberately acquired by the site.
Cookies are not used for sending information of a personal nature, nor is any use made of so-called permanent cookies, i.e. systems for tracing users. 
So-called temporary cookies (that are not permanently memorised on user’s computer, but disappear when browser is closed) are used strictly for sending session identifiers (random numbers generated by server), which are needed for the safe and effective navigation of the site.
Temporary cookies are used on this site to avoid using other computer techniques that are potentially threatening to user navigation privacy. They do not allow acquisition of personal data that identifies the user.Freedom of choice when supplying data
Apart from navigation data specified, the user is free to supply personal data on registration forms for the Portale Servizi di Pubblica Utilità (Public Interest Services portal), on requests for information or suggestions or comments to site editors or otherwise indicated during telephone contact with regional offices.
If this data is not supplied, it may not be possible to fulfil user request.
Means of processing
Personal information is handled by an automatic procedure for the time necessary to carry out the function for which it was gathered.
Specific safety measures are observed to prevent the loss, illicit or wrongful use or unauthorised access to data.
User rights
Proprietors of personal data have the right, at any time, to receive confirmation, or otherwise, of their data’s existence and to know the contents and origin. They may also verify that data are exact and ask to update, integrate or correct them (comma 7 of Italian law 196/2003).
Comma 7 also confirms the right to request cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data held illegally, as well as the right to contest, for legitimate reasons, the holding of data.
Such requests must be made to Regione Lombardia (Lombardy Regional Authorities).

The contents may not be reproduced, communicated or made public, rented, lent or otherwise disseminated, without the authorisation of the proprietor. Contents may only be downloaded or used, using means laid down in the rights and, in no case, for commercial usage. Any violations will be sanctioned, as per commas 171 and 174 of the above-mentioned legislation.
