Together the partner regions of the Forum contribute to more than 10% of the global GDP and most of them produce between 12% and 36 % of the total national GDP.
Given the importance and the contribution of each partner region to the economy of its State and to the global economy, the second edition of the World Regions Forum opened with the thematic workshop “Strengthening business and innovation among the enterprises of the World Regions Forum” entirely dedicated to business relations and open to the private sector, associations, clusters and chambers of commerce.

Partner Regions see the preparation for 2015 World Expo in Milan with the theme “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life” as an opportunity to strengthen the World Regions network through joint projects in all thematic areas. The opportunity of a joint participation of the WRF in the 2015 World Expo in Milan, according to a project will be defined and shared.
